5-suite house with a black-stone infinity pool, Altos de Trancoso

Simplicity is the new luxury here. The house has three parts: a main living space and two separate sleeping wings, set in a lush garden around a 20 × 4 m infinity pool of small black stones that faces the tropical forest.

The open living area is remarkable in size and height, ideal for entertaining. Two wooden sliding doors can close the kitchen off from the bar that anchors the living room. An antique-wood deck leads to the pool, the heart of daily life.

There are 5 suites: a master, two junior suites and two standard suites. Solid wooden pillars support a veranda roofed in biriba, the typical Bahian wooden shingle, alongside resin-concrete surfaces with a Mediterranean feel.
