700-hectare beachfront land with 2.4 km of coast near Caravelas

Beachfront rural properties with 2.36 km of flat, swimmable coastline, protected by a coral barrier 12 km offshore. The land suits resorts, golf, equestrian estates, eco-tourism, gated communities or sustainable farming.

It has deserted beaches, native forest with rare hardwoods, and fertile land with coconut, cashew, mango and other fruit trees. Barra de Caravelas (6 km) has shops and medical care, and Caravelas (14 km) has a marina.

Offshore lies the Parcel das Paredes, Brazil’s largest coral bank, whose natural pools appear at low tide, and the Abrolhos Marine National Park, famous for diving. From June to November humpback whales come here to breed, in one of the largest nurseries in the South Atlantic. Caravelas airport, built in the Second World War with a 1,600-metre runway, is 17 km away, and Teixeira de Freitas, the region’s main city, 80 km.
