Wanderlust heads south of Trancoso to Caraíva, a village between the Atlantic and the Caraíva river with no cars, no roads into the centre and mains electricity only since 2008, where residents still switch off the lights at full moon. The trip continues along the empty beaches of southern Bahia and into the indigenous Pataxó lands around Monte Pascoal.
